KYLE
Kyle Kamimoto, originally from Irvine, California. Teaches economics.
Best orange juice in Panama City? That would have to be La Casa de Las Frutas y Los Helados. The frostee de piña y naranja is also good. Claro. It’s just awesome.
Best place to spend the weekends? Superbook. Cheap beer and lots of tv screens. The food’s ehhh, but it’s not about the food.
[Eds. note: Superbook is about watching football and betting and maybe watching other sports too.]
Favorite thing you’re wearing? This sweater. It’s from RVCA. I bought it at a surf shop in Irvine.
Happy Super Bowl Sunday!

Luisa Oconnell, Panamá, Panamá. Owner of Vinta Accesorios. Look at her online store here.
How old is Vinta? 2 years old.
What inspired you to start the company? All my life I have really liked jewelry. I find inspiration in nature and in the colors of the stones.
What places in Panama City do you recommend? Espacio Vintage. You should go to Espacio Vintage en el Casco. [Gisela, here, is one of the co-owners.] You should go to Lagartija. It’s a theater and on the first floor they have a cafe. You can just go and have a drink and then upstairs they have good plays.
